Entering the Homestretch

Only 11 more weeks until May 4, our due date! Time has flown by and I can't believe I'm already 29 weeks and into the third trimester. It has been a wonderful pregnancy and have loved every second of it. Not so much the nauseau (in the first trimester), bloating, and acid reflux that I seem to be getting every night when I lay down to go to sleep. But aside from those discomforts, I love being pregnant. The wonderful feeling when our baby girl kicks, punches, rolls over, or is doing her sprint drills overtakes all those minor discomforts, it is pure joy! Eugene and I are are so excited to meet her! Although I will miss feeling her move inside and having Eugene feel and see her move. The other night Eugene placed his cheek on my belly and started talking to our daughter and he received a couple kicks in the jaw. He said a few more things and sure enough, 2 more kicks in the jaw. It was a very special time and we got a "kick" out of it.

Hi Gene and Melissa, I am Gene's mother's friend, Gloria. Gene probably does not remember me, since he was a little guy when I left Jersey and moved to Texas. I use to African dance with your Mother. I remember your Mother dragging you guys to our sweaty classes. I am so happy for you and your wife. It wonderfu to see young couples in love and doing the right thing.
Peace and Blessings
