Water Fun

A few weeks ago we decided to take advantage of the new aquatic park near our home. It has a big water slide that you can ride an intertube down or go on your own, a lazy river that you can float through, and a huge play structure for younger kids complete with water spouting out everywhere and buckets dumping huge amounts of water our. It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed it!

At the end of June Eugene's mother, grandmother, and nephew came to visit us. The visit was supposed to be a surprise for Eugene, but he figured it out only 2 days before their arrival. Mekhi didn't know though and when KJ was walking to the baggage claim Mekhi said, "I know that kid-I played basketball against him and we won." Finally when KJ and Mekhi were face to face Mekhi realized he did not only know "that kid"-he's related to him! It was nice to have them here all the way from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Mekhi loved having KJ here to play with all day and night. Since I had only been with my mother-in-law for 2 different occassion (our wedding and in March when we visited Jersey) it was nice to have more of a laid back visit with her.

Back for another Summer

As of June 6th, big brother Mekhi is back for the summer. Zenobia absolutely loves him and I already know she will miss him terribly when he leaves. Mekhi is great with her and they are so cute together.

All Done!!

Finally the swing set is done......as of May 30. So I'm really late posting but wanted to show everyone Zenobia's new swing set. It's a little advanced for her right now but in no time she will be the master of the climbing wall. She loves to swing and go down the slide-with some help of course, it's super fast! Thanks Grammy and PaPop!!!!
