1 Year Old!!!

On May 7, Zenobia turned one year old. Hard to believe it's already been a year and my teeny tiny baby is now turning into a toddler. Zenobia and I met Eugene for lunch and Zo had her first Happy Meal-well kind of. Then later on she opened presents and had cake. I baked cupcakes since we were having a big celebrations on Mother's Day with a cake. When we gave her the cupcake she just looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes wondering if she could really have the whole thing. I told her to dive in and she started picking off pieces like I do for her with some food, then I put the cupcake in both hands and she dove in. Zenobia ate 3/4 of the cupcake-she loved it!

Here Comes Trouble

As of 9 months Zenobia was able to stand by herself. At 10 months she took a couple steps. At 11 months she started taking a few more steps at a time and last weekend she decided to take off!! She is walking, or should I say running. With just a couple of days of walking under her belt she feels as if she could sprint-and yes she can still keep control and balance. I guess we shouldn't expect any less with our background......presenting our future sprinter!

Beautiful Weather

A couple weeks ago we had an 80 degree day and it was wonderful! Zenobia and I took a long walk, then she played outside while I did some yard work. When Eugene got home we went to Manito Park and played on the slide and walked around the pond to watch the ducks. Here are some pics.
