They always feel each other's face when they first see each other

Every 2-3 weeks Zenobia and I get together with a couple other mommies and babies for a playdate. Zenobia loves to interact with the other babies and gets so excited when she sees them. Of course the interest only lasts for the first 20 minutes or so, but sometimes she will become interested again. I think the playdate is as much for us moms as it is for the babies. It's just nice to be able to hang out and chat and to not worry if your baby gets cranky-because we're all in the same vote.

East Coast Trip

Last week we took a trip to New Jersey to visit Eugene's family. Zenobia and I have never been there so it was a new adventure. We spent 3 whole days there (can't include the 2 travel days) and our time was packed with people to see and places to go. It went by super fast and I already decided next time we will spend 2 extra days there. Zenobia got to meet her Nana, Big Nana (great grandmother), Aunt Nay, Uncle Rahk, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Mi, and numerous cousins for the first time (and also the first time for me for most of these people as well). It was fun to finally get to know the rest of Eugene's family. We also went to New York City and walked around. We went through Time Square, Rockafeller Plaza, and even rode the subway. It was a lot of fun but wish we had more time. Eugene took us to visit his hometown and got to see where he went to school and lived. And of course we had some delicious New York pizza and a hot dog! Unfortunately I forgot my camera.......(I'll end on that note).
